On June 8th, 2017, PSIR participated as a founding member in the first meeting of the Doctoral School Working Group (Doctoral School Working Group-DocSch WG) held at the headquarters of the European Security and Defense College (European Security and Defence College-ESDC) in Brussels. The main task of the Working Group, which was set up by a decision taken by ESCD’s Academic Executive Board (Academic Executive Board) is to examine the possibility of establishing a European Doctoral School on the Common Security and Defence Policy of the European Union (EU). PSIR was represented at the first meeting by a faculty member, the Assistant Professor Efstathios T. Fakiolas.
