Short biographical note

Panagiotis Theodorikakos is member of the Specialized Teaching Personnel in the University of Peloponnese. He has graduated from Ralleios Pedagogical Academy and the Pedagogical Department of the University of Athens. He completed his postgraduate studies in “Political Sciences and Sociology” with specialization in Sociology in the School of “Economics and Political Sciences” at the University of Athens. He performed his doctoral studies in the University of Peloponnese on the field of “Political Influences in Local Authorities’ Sport policies after 1974”. He teaches in  the departments of “Social and Education Policy”  and “Social and Political Sciences” at the University of Peloponnese courses on State policies in the local government, social policy, electoral behavior and analysis, political parties and opinion polls. He has participated in several conferences and has written various articles on a number of social and political issues. As Research Associate at GPO AE, from 2004 until today , he had the scientific supervision to several social and political surveys in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania . He has also presented dozens of political surveys to media in Greece and Cyprus . He served as vice – Prefect of Piraeus between 1995 and 1996.
