The Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of Peloponnese invites interested students to contact faculty members of the Department in order to formulate research proposals for a PhD thesis. The interests of faculty who are willing to supervise PhD candidates are described below.

The interested person formulates a short proposal and a provisional title. Then, he/she contacts the faculty member who has similar interests by e-mail (see the relevant section on the Department's website). If the faculty member agrees in principle with the necessity of the proposed proposal, he/she guides the student to formulate a complete research proposal, which he/she submits to the Department's Secretariat along with the necessary supporting documents. A prerequisite for a proposal to be considered is the communication and agreement of the applicant with the potential supervisor on the topic and the proposal submitted.  The Departmental Assembly decides whether or not to accept the proposal.
