Short biographical note
Maria-Eleftheria Galani teaches French for Academic Purposes at the department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of the Peloponnese. She also has been teaching at the Hellenic Open University since 2003 as an adjunct lecturer in the Master’s in French Language Teaching program. Before that she was a visiting lecturer at the University of Thessaly and has also taught undergraduate courses at the department of French Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and postgraduate courses at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA).
Dr Galani received her MSc and PhD in French Language, Literature and Culture from the Lyon 2 University (France) and a second MSc in Education from the Hellenic Open University. She also speaks english (C2) and italian (B1). Dr. Galani has an extensive professional experience in French language teaching as a teacher, teacher trainer and examiner and her research interests are multidisciplinary.
