Research is one of the scientific development cornerstones for the Department of Political Science and International Relations. The faculty staff members are highly active in diverse research activities that are highly acknowledged and well received in Greece and abroad. In addition to personal research activities the department is host to a number of research groups,and collaborative research initiatives, activities or projects. Collectively this approach encourages and actively fosters multidisciplinary research actions, cross inter-departmental and inter-institutional collaborations, funded projects and encourages the active engagement of students in research activities.
