Short biographical note

Marina Eleftheriadou holds a Ph.D in Political Science and International Relations from the University of the Peloponnese, for which she was awarded the “Heraclitus II” grant. She completed her BSc in European and International Studies and her MSc in International Relations and Strategic Studies at the Panteion University. In 2007-8, she conducted research in Israel (Bar-Ilan University) and Palestine. She is a senior editor at the ‘Centre for Mediterranean, Middle East and Islamic Studies’ (CEMMIS) and a researcher at the ‘Centre for Religious Pluralism in the Middle East’ (CRPME). Moreover, she is member of the editorial board of Small Wars & Insurgencies journal. She speaks Greek, English, French, Russian and some Spanish and she is learning Arabic.
