Short biographical note
Panos Chountalas is a researcher and instructor of Management. He is currently a Member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Hellenic Open University (School of Social Sciences) and Teaching Associate at both the University of Piraeus (Department of Business Administration) and the University of the Peloponnese (Department of Political Science and International Relations). He holds a PhD, MBA and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus. His scientific publications have appeared in high-quality refereed journals (BPMJ, EJOR, JCP etc.). He has an extensive professional experience in business consulting and has been a researcher in various funded international research projects (EQUAL, INTERREG III B, ARTICLE 6 etc.). In the recent past he was also the owner/director of an innovative e-publishing company. His current research interests include Business Process Management, Standardized Management Systems, and Risk Management.
