Since 2012-2013, the Department has been organizing Postgraduate Programmes of Studies, which cover contemporary issues and fully respond to the need to acquire new knowledge and skills. The Department has gained excellent experience in this field, constantly improving the quality of studies with new courses, high quality teaching staff and new collaborations with Departments and Universities abroad and in Greece.

The (MA) in Governance and Public Policies and the (MA) in Local and Regional Development and Local Government have been accredited by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), in accordance with the established quality standards for master programs. The accreditation was granted on June 17, 2026, for a period of five years (until June16, 2031) and confirms the program’s full compliance with the principles, criteria, and quality assurance procedures of higher education.
