The conference organized by PSIR in collaboration with Eduardo Mondlane University (Maputo, Mozambique) within the framework of the AfriquEurope program on Governance and Democracy in Africa in an Uncertain World aimed at seeking strategies for closer collaboration between the continent and Europe, was successfully concluded in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique .

The following research centers also participated in the Conference (September 26-27, 2025):

• IMD - Institute for Multiparty Democracy (Maputo - Mozambique)

• CDD - Centre for Development and Democracy (Maputo - Mozambique)

• GGA - Good Governance Africa  (Johannesburg, South Africa)

• ISS - Institute for Security Studies  (Pretoria South Africa), 

• ECDPM - European Centre for Development Policy Management (Maastricht - Netherlands)

The AfriquEurope project coordinated by PESIR is the largest (in number of partners) European collaboration program between European and African universities in the social sciences.
