Speaker: Tahsin Mert Saygin, Research Assistant, Istanbul Esenyurt University; PhD candidate, Yildiz Technical University. Tahsin Mert Saygin is a research assistant at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of Istanbul Esenyurt University. He is also a PhD candidate in the Cultural Studies Program of Yildiz Technical University. He holds an MA and BA from Middle East Technical University. His research interests focus on the political economy of digital media industries and the neoliberalization of higher education in Turkey.
