The course presents the theories of political violence and its contemporary assumptions about conflicts within states. Special mention is made of contemporary phenomena of social and political rebellion, transnational as well as state violence. Additionally, the phenomenon of the action of terrorist organizations of political violence from the end of the 1960s to the present day and in particular the evolution of the phenomenon of political violence in the 21st century is examined.
